I have been looking for a pinstripe abayah for a long time and this one looks great Alhamdulillah.
There wasn't as much description about this abayah on the website as other sites so I'll write my review here:
The material is 100% polyester and is medium-thick, it's probably an autumn/winter abayah. There is one open hip pocket on the right hand side. Which was a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting pockets. However, 2 with zips would have been a good idea, maybe in future?
The sleeves are narrow at the cuffs, which isn't a problem to roll up for wudhu for a few seconds if you have skinny arms, but any longer than a few minutes and you'll start to tourniquet your blood flow. This meant I had to get them altered to put zips in the sleeves which cost me me almost as much money as the abayah. I was happy to do this as the quality of the abayah was worth it and it is not priced too high anyway. However, the company may want to consider widening the sleeves slightly so they are not as tapered as they currently are.
However, alhamdulillah the length was fine. I am 5ft4 and a half inches and 54" was the correct size for me. I'm glad that the length I received was actually the length specified and that it wasn't the 56" standard that is way too long for a lot of us, and that there is an option to adjust the length when ordering, saved me time and money on alterations!
As for the width, the label inside says Medium. I am a size 10 and it fits ok, a couple of inches slightly wider from the shoulders than I would usually get but nothing people would really notice. It could probably fit most midrange sizes up to size 14 or maybe. But very large ladies may not be able to wear this.
Customer service: package came on time (I think). However, I sent two emails to the support team about two different issues and received 0 replies to either of them, which was disappointing and makes customers feel like they don't exist! But instead, the company sent me 2 emails asking for me to write this review and rate your product. But didn't reply to my emails at all.
I suggest the company please improves their customer service and has more information on the website about the abayahs they are selling e.g. what material, pockets or not. Aside from that, the actual abayah was good quality and came in an ok timeframe so I am generally happy with my experience.
